Music and Munch

Music and Munch takes place at All Saints Church by-the-Sea, 110 Park Drive in Ganges. Patrons should note that Music and Munch continues with Simply Organic throughout the fall, winter and spring months from September 10 2003 to May 2004 at 10:10 am on most Wednesdays, but at the usual time of 12:10 pm on the first Wednesday each month. There be a New Year break on January 7th 2004.

Cantus

Cantus is a group who have been singing together for 11 years, focusing on medieval and Renaissance music. They started as a weekly open singing group at Beaver Point and gradually moved into early music. They have never had a Director.

They have performed on Salt Spring Island at Salt Spring Singers' concerts, Music & Munch and Christmas at ArtSpring. Most recently they produced their own concert at All Saints' by-the-Sea and Beaver Point Hall in conjunction with medieval groups Ensemble Laude and Cantiga. For this Music & Munch they will present fall, winter, and some Christmas songs, with a few eclectic old favorites.
