Ford Lake is quite small – about the size of Blackburn and Stowel Lakes. It is surrounded by
mostly farm land with wooded hillsides above. It can be seen from the start of Mereside Road. Ford Lake is very
shallow with a depth of only 3 metres, or about 10 feet. The surface is 82 metres above he geocetic datum. In
winter, it drains into Fulford Creek and is surrounded by cow pasture and stands of Douglas Fir. |
